Siren Riding Kelpie Mug

This handmade porcelain mug was shaped and finished over many hours, with careful attention to detail. It depicts a siren riding a kelpie through an enchanted forest, searching for the ocean she calls home. The siren is a creature of song and saltwater. The kelpie, a water spirit from Celtic folklore, is known for its shifting form and deep connection to rivers and lakes. Together, they travel through tangled woods touched by magic.

Set into the handle is a piece of rose quartz. Traditionally associated with gentleness, healing, and emotional clarity, the stone offers a quiet sense of balance. The mug is both a functional object and a small piece of myth—meant to be used slowly, with intention.

The price reflects the cosmetic defect of two small cracks that formed on the window frame. These small cracks in no way affect the functionality or food safety of the piece.

This mug was fired in a ceramic kiln to 2,232 degrees F

I take care to package each piece very carefully in bubble wrap and packing peanuts - each piece is one of a kind and can not be replicated.
